The fact that the Oscar Awards 'show' was just yesterday night, makes on wonder about the validity and the prestige that they still have.
On a night tinged with international flair and homage to a bygone age of moviemaking, The Artist put the final strokes on its masterpiece of an awards season, winning the best picture Oscar and four other awards to end in a tie with Hugo at five. Considering that yesterday night I went to the cinema to watch Hugo, I would have been more than happy if it didn't get any award.
Is it the only worthy thing that Woody Allen got his --more than deserved-- screenplay award?

You mean you didn't like Hugo? I wanted to see it (not in the cinema). I will see the artist soon.
